Getting around ScottVentures

ScottVentures has two kinds of things to use: free online tools, and written content. This page is a quick map of both, so you can find what you need without digging through menus.

The tools

Both tools run entirely in your browser — nothing you upload is required to leave your device to get a result on most operations, and either tool opens straight to its workspace with no account needed.

ScottPDF

Merge, split, compress, and convert PDF files. Open a tool, drop in your file, and you'll see a full preview of every page before you run the operation — not just a filename in a list. Find it under Tools → ScottPDF in the menu, or go straight to the ScottPDF tools page.

ScottIMG

Resize, crop, compress, and convert images, plus a couple of quick editing tools. Like ScottPDF, you get a real preview of the image you uploaded before running anything. Find it under Tools → ScottIMG, or go straight to the ScottIMG tools page.

The content

Three sections, organized by how long a topic needs:

• Articles — short, focused explainers. Good for a single "wait, how does that work?" question.
• Tutorials — hands-on, step-by-step walkthroughs with real code, for when you're building something rather than just reading about it.
• Learning Materials — broader reference guides that cover a whole topic area rather than one narrow question.

Every listing page has an "All" view and a "Featured" filter if you just want the highlights.

Accounts

You don't need an account to use either tool or to read any article, tutorial, or material. Creating an account (sign up / log in) adds commenting and reactions on posts, and a notifications/messages inbox.
