File processing and privacy

When you run a PDF tool, the uploaded files are held in a temporary working directory on the ScottPDF server and removed after the output response is sent.

The default launcher runs on your own computer at 127.0.0.1. If the project is deployed on a public server, that server operator will handle uploaded documents. Review the host, its logs, backups, and any configured AI service before uploading confidential documents.
